The Kiwanis Club of Columbia Northeast Foundation was granted 501-3C status, in accordance with IRS regulations, in early 2003. The Foundation exists to allow benefactors to support the club’s many philanthropic endeavors, while gleaming the tax advantages offered by this eleemosynary effort. Contributions to the foundation can be made in many forms.

Your gift may be designated for a particular cause or become a part of the general fund. Non-structured gifts may be presented to honor or in memory of a loved one or special occasion. Gifts may also be offered to recognize individuals in various fellowship categories.

Northeast Fellow

• This program recognizes annual contributions of $100 or more to support the grants and programs of the Foundation. Gifts can be individual or to honor others. Donors or honorees will receive a personalized desk set.

Harold Wrenn Perry Fellowship

• This program recognizes annual contributions of $250 or more to support the grants and programs of the Foundation. Gifts can be individual or to honor others. Donors or honorees will have their name added to the club fellowship banner and receive a special remembrance engraved with the motto: …because every child deserves a hero.

Benefactor

• This program recognizes annual contributions of $50 or more to support the grants and programs of the Foundation. Gifts can be individual or to honor others. Donors or honorees will receive a personalized holiday ornament.
